Tips for usage

Step 1: Put the food into the jar and cover it with the iron lid

Step 2: Align the electric jar vacuum sealer with the mouth of the mason jar, and then press it horizontally downward into place

Step 3: Click the button and the sealing machine starts to vacuum (the screen will show the working time)

Step 4: Clock the button to stop working (or the machine will shut off automatically when sealed). The screen will display the current battery level

Step 5: Double check for a secure seal.

Step 6: When you need to take out the food, use the can opener to open the lid

Ensure the silicone sealing ring is in the right position. If the ring gets out of place and is dislocated, make sure to adjust it prior to sealing.

To ensure a good seal, do not overfill the Mason jars with liquid or food and make sure the lids and jar opening are dry. Leave some room to get the best seal. There should be at least ½ inch of space for solid foods like fruit or candy, and 1 inch for soft foods or liquids like jams and pickles.
